One of my biggest problems was trying to figure out how to execute good storytelling with scenes that make sense when the viewer is listening and looking at my concept. On top of trying to figure out what kind of environments I wanted to make. But with some feedback from my committee members, I was fortunate enough to slowly start coming to a confident progress. I was able to find a connection I could make between the environments as well as give a background story that would tie the beginning answering the why and how of the narrative script. With this, I was able to also go back to my Twine idea and found out not only how to embed videos but sound as well.

I was finally about to come to a cohesive decision about which software I would like to utilize for my studio project. After my last critique, I was still on the fence about whether or not I wanted to use Blender or Twinmotion. I first wanted to test out Twinmotion and see how I liked it, compare and contrast the difficulty levels between Blender and Twinmotion; and frankly see how far I could push Twinmotion to build and render something vast, life-like in not only structure but texture most important of all. However, I changed my mind once more going without seeing the lengths of Twinmotion and just sticking with Blender. This decision was ultimately made because I knew I would be wasting time continuing to test out software and needed to start practicing building my project. So far I have started to get a little more comfortable in Blender. I have created three basic blocks, following helpful tutorials online and using Pinterest as an inspiration tool as well. I am still trying to find the flow between the themes of surrealism and time with my narrative path of storytelling which is something I hope to work on in my following critique.

Inspiration

I decided to remove Twine from my studio project concept due to the perceived conflicts it was causing. I grappled with the challenge of seamlessly integrating both Twine and Blender into my workflow. It seemed impractical for the viewer to switch back and forth between the Blender-animated video and the Twine game. Although my initial intention was to incorporate elements from the Blender scenes into Twine, I struggled to find a viable integration method. Eventually, I resolved to eliminate Twine from the concept altogether and focus solely on the 3D modeling environment.
In lieu of Twine, I opted to transform the storyline into an auditory experience for the viewer. They will be able to listen to a diverse range of narratives, spanning from personal tales to ambient soundscapes, while simultaneously exploring the 3D animated models.

Concept: Timeless Timeline + Chaotic Peaceful Surrealism
My concept involves generating and creating environments set in different time periods taking the user through different worlds, for example, time travel, dystopian society, environmental apocalypse, environmental degradation, and utopian society. These environments would be made in Blender, then rendered as animations and turned into videos to give users a preview of what to expect in each world or storyline. The primary interaction will be through the interactive text-based game, probably done in Twine. Which will guide users through the different environments and explore the themes in greater detail. The text-based game will be designed to be immersive and engaging, encouraging users to explore each world in depth.
